UConn Senior Design 2019: The Podcast

Every year, the University of Connecticut’s School of Engineering puts out a multi-media project to showcase senior design, and in 2019 they decided to utilize my podcast experience to produce a podcast showcasing three senior design teams.

In this podcast, I take the listener through the journey of a senior design project, with each team representing the beginning, middle or end. The wheelchair propulsion team talked about the start of senior design, and how teams prepare for the hands-on work. The pitch-protection wearable wristband team talked about digging into the hands-on work in the middle of the project and finding the best way to bring their blueprints to life. Finally, the autonomous firefighting drone team takes the listener through the final stages of their project and their emotions presenting their project to the public at UConn Engineering’s Demonstration Day.
